How to use Work Hours Calculator
A repeated weekly schedule is a quick way to estimate working time. Use paid hours after any unpaid breaks. Fractional weeks are supported for an approximate period rather than a dated timesheet.
The pay estimate uses one hourly rate for all hours. It does not calculate overtime, leave entitlement, public-holiday premiums, tax deductions or employment-law obligations.
The formula
A worked example
Paid hours per working day: 8 · Working days per week: 5 · Number of weeks: 4 · Hourly rate (₹): 200
Total work hours: 160 hours
Uses paid working hours. Overtime rates, unpaid breaks and taxes are excluded.
