How to use Revenue Calculator
Revenue is the value of sales before subtracting expenses. This calculator multiplies one unit price by a whole number of units. It is useful for a simple sales scenario or checking a single-price product line.
The result is not profit or cash collected. Discounts, refunds, GST, payment delays and multiple product prices require additional adjustments. Use the profit calculator after estimating the relevant costs.
The formula
Revenue = unit price × units sold
A worked example
Price per unit (₹): 499 · Units sold: 100
Estimated sales revenue: ₹49,900.00
Gross sales before discounts, refunds, tax and expenses. Revenue is not profit.
