How to use Energy Converter
Energy and power are different quantities. A kilowatt-hour is energy supplied by one kilowatt over one hour, and equals 3.6 million joules. A kilowatt alone is power and is not an energy unit.
The calorie here uses the thermochemical definition. A food-label Calorie commonly refers to one kilocalorie, or 1000 small calories; select kilocalories for that unit. This tool performs unit conversion rather than nutrition or medical advice.
